Janet Appling » We have a grey fox on the peninsula and in our woods. There have been lots of red fox, but this is the first time that I'm aware of, in the 30some years we've lived here, of a grey fox.

Stephanie Boismenue » One day the baby & an adult were sitting on the shore (at the enterance to the swamp on Rose's property) and the baby kept jumping on the back of the adult---unusual behavior-but hysterical to watch.
Stephanie Boismenue » We also have a "Baby Eagle Variety Show" - the baby is often unbalanced as it perches, so it sways back and forth. Also it flys back & forth across our windows 4-5times in a matter of min. Very funny.

Stephanie Boismenue » I've named 1 of the baby eagles "Baby 5 O'Clock". Why, bacause he/she comes screaching across the lake & perches on a tree outside our bedroom window - continuing to screach -at 5:00 every am
Marj Mehring » Summer is flying. I finished the July lake testing on Monday. Squash Lake is in it's usual sumer stratification with almost no oxegen below 40 ft.
